Just so that I can give you some more specs. This module does require inlining. It is used to customize the links above the query box. You can have custom links. The value in the query box when you click link can be added into the URL. %%QUERY%% is replaced with the value you typed in the box. Good if you want to use another search engine that uses something other than q for it's query.

I suggest user could use images instead of link texts. I want to customize my links as www.google.vc do. How do you think?

That is a great idea. I'll code something up, but it will be a different module, can't think of an elegant way of allowing you to choose which header style you want. I've been thinking of doing something for a while that will allow you to customize the entire header of Google for a while now. I'll see what I can come up with.

Hello,
I have written a module that changes the header to the Google X style (the style on the page linked to above). But because Google Modules does not allow for submissions of inlined required modules, I can't post it here. Here are the files:
